THEISTIC SATANISM
Learn the truth about theistic Satanism.
A HISTORY OF PANIC
The faith of theistic Satanism has been the victim of relentless misjudgment, derision, and persecution for decades – from the early 1950's through to the Satanic Panic of the 1980's and 1990's, the public has embraced a hyperbolic notion of Satanism and what it means to be a Satanist of the modern day.
While atheistic Satanism has slowly gained the public's acceptance, theistic Satanism still remains a boogeyman in the minds of most people. The reason for this is twofold – fear and misinformation. Until The Infernal Circle, there existed no credible, respected representation of theistic Satanism for the uninformed to consult.
When you mix fear of the unknown with a lack of information, the gates of hysteria open wide for all matter of ridiculous claims and assumptions to be created and accepted by others for face value. Well, we are here to remedy these long-unchallenged misjudgments that surround theistic Satanism.
OUR BELIEFS
As theistic Satanists, we believe in a literal Satan and a literal Hell – we recognize the story of God, but have chosen Satan's side. Here at The Infernal Circle, we believe that Satan is the benefactor of humankind – not God. It was Satan that gave us freewill, swaying us from servitude to God and encouraging us to embrace our nature as wise, rational, resilient, and powerful beings capable of self-governance.
We believe in the constant pursuit of self-betterment, always striving to become stronger, wiser, and more capable than our prior selves. As well, we strive to caretake the people and things that matter most to us – our dreams, ambitions, loved ones, passions, and desires – whatever it is that makes one feel fulfilled.
We do not condone malice, wanton violence, or cruelty.
We do not advocate hatred, nor do we tolerate those that wish to bastardize our religion for hateful agendas.
We do not believe in bigotry, alienation, or the persecution of those that think, live, and pray differently than we do.
We believe that all people should continuously strive to improve themselves and fight for what matters most, in life – this is what Satan taught us when first he defied the tyranny God, and this is the philosophy that we embrace as theistic Satanists.
